Shiatsu and Acupressure Workshop

Join us for an introductory workshop exploring the principles of Shiatsu and Acupressure, two traditional approaches to bodywork that use focused, gentle pressure to promote relaxation and well-being.

This community-based workshop will introduce participants to basic, non-impact, force-free soft-tissue pressure techniques applied along the body's meridian pathways. You will learn how intentional touch and gentle pressure can be incorporated into a wellness routine to help relieve stress, encourage relaxation, and support your overall sense of well-being.

Whether you are new to bodywork, interested in natural wellness practices, or simply looking for practical ways to manage everyday stress, this workshop offers an opportunity to explore the benefits of mindful touch in a welcoming, educational environment.

What You Will Learn

  • The Basics of Shiatsu & Acupressure: An introduction to these traditional bodywork practices.
  • Meridian Pathways: Explore the concept of energy pathways used in traditional East Asian medicine.
  • Gentle Pressure Techniques: Learn basic, non-impact methods that do not rely on forceful manipulation.
  • Stress Relief & Relaxation: Discover how gentle touch may help ease tension and support relaxation.
