Chakras
The word "chakra" means disk, vortex, or wheel. The chakras are energy centers that can hold negative or positive energy. Seven major chakras have been distinguished, however smaller chakras exist as energy centers throughout the body, like acupuncture points. Each chakra influences the organs, muscles, ligaments, veins, and all other body parts within the energy field, which also includes mental, emotional, and spiritual energies throughout the body and its surrounding aura. The aura can be compared to an electromagnetic field; a comprehensive network of flows of energy and information exchange at a quantum level.
Chronic stress can throw our chakras out of balance, making some become smaller and swirl elliptically instead of in a circle. Stress and negative thinking patterns can also cause them to hold on to negative or stagnant energies. Clearing and balancing unhealthy energies can help heal physical symptoms and increase the flow of energy for optimum health and well-being.
Chakra balancing is a deep healing technique that not only removes stagnant energy but also provides fresh energy to restore balance and well-being.
The benefits of chakra balancing can include:
* Improving energy balance and flow
* Increasing one’s physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental wellbeing
* Relieving tension and stress
* Removing energy blocks and increasing positive energy and vitality
